Understand the Vision of Nthali
We are featured by Re-alliance in spreading the message for the 2025 World Food Day.
Nthali would like to cerebrate the 2025 World Food Day by sharing the vision that we are harboring for the regenerative food future.
MONDAY QUOTES FROM OUR COMMUNITIES 16-02-2026
“My maize crop has dried up… I have no money to buy seeds for replanting.”
These are the heartfelt words of Jafari Monjeza, a young farmer from Salima District, Malawi, who, like many others, has been hit hard by prolonged drought. After three weeks without rain, his crops withered, threatening his family’s food security and income.
At Nthali, we believe no farmer should face climate shocks alone. That’s why, through our Soil Rangers Project, we’re helping farmers like Jafari rebuild their livelihoods by introducing regenerative farming systems, methods that restore soil health, improve water retention, and reduce dependency on costly external inputs. By training farmers, providing climate-resilient seed varieties, and building community-led seed banks, we help them become more resilient against drought and floods.
Over the next six months, our goal is to reach 100 young farmers in Central Malawi, equipping them with the tools, knowledge, and seedlings they need to thrive even when the rains fail.
🌱 You can be part of this transformation. Every contribution, whether through sharing, donating, or connecting us with supporters, helps safeguard local food systems and empower families like Jafari’s.
They Need Your Help!
What choices do we make on food? Do we buy or eat food that destroyed nature in its production or the food that regenerated nature? Which side are you?
